STAR EXPRESS - CASHIER / TEAMMATE - PETERSBURG

Position Title: Teammate – C-Store

Exemption Status: Non-Exempt

Basic Function:

A Team Mate is responsible providing excellent customer service by being a model of the following values on a daily basis. This positions reports to the Market Manager.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Provide our customers with a fast, fun and friendly shopping experience

2. Ensure cash handling is accurate

3. Ensure that products are available and services are in working order to help us drive market sales

4. Keep the bathrooms, floors, parking lots, pumps and grounds in immaculate condition

5. Follow all security and safety procedures to protect fellow teammates, customers and our business from harm

6. Be knowledgeable about all aspects of the interior food preparation and sales business

Education and Experience:

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent

• Customer Service experience preferred

• Cash handling skills

• Food service experience preferred

2. Ability to effectively communicate with associates and guests

3. Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation

4. Ability to work in a convenience store

5. Ability to work in a high volume food operation
